Tummy time with AnnieAnnie is 3 weeks old today! Wow, we cannot get over how fast time's flown by. Today Mason and I reflected on how much has happened in three weeks that it seems longer in some ways, but so short in others. I guess we just have to get used to this new pace and keep up.
Last week the public health nurse came for a visit and reminded me that Annie needed to have tummy and back time in order to help develop muscle strength. So, today I set up a blanket on the guest bed and put Annie on her tummy. At first she was quite happy but then when she realised she could just barely lift her head off the blanket she was no longer happy . I promised Annie next time we have tummy time that we'll set up her new tummy time play mat that her Great Aunt Patti and cousins Jennifer and Johanna gave her. It's a bit more exciting than a blanket on a bed and probably more stimulating too.
