Family Photo--2 weeks oldAnnie is two weeks old today, it's amazing how time flies now that she is here. We spent the morning of Victoria Day relaxing as a family and we even got to sleep in until 8am, as Annie once again slept well.
That afternoon, my co-worker Lindsay (who is 28 weeks pregnant) dropped by to see Annie and I. It was really nice to see her as she and I shared the ups and downs of pregnancy together from day 1.
Annie was her usual charming self and was very happy when Lindsay feed her some breastmilk from a bottle. During the visit Mason and I shared some of our new parent tips.

Here's the advice we received but did not use at first--duh....
- Say no, or limit visiting times at first. Mason and I did not do this and were zombies the first week.
- Sleep when she sleeps....still working on this one during the day.
After our visit with Lindsay, we relaxed some more and Mason even had some time to take Skye for a much needed run before we left for dinner at Aunt Meg and Uncle Steve's house.
Dinner that night was awesome--not cooking for new parents is even better. Meg and Steve are getting married in 3 weeks so it was nice to have some time with them before they really get down to the wire with last minute planning. We can't wait for their wedding!
