Well, we know we love spoiling Annie and can't get enough of how cute she is in everything we put her in and how she is starting to take notice of her toys and sounds around her. When Mason and I became parents (a short 44 days ago) we did not realise how generous people are to new parents and their babies. Here's some examples of the generosity we've experienced in the past 24 hours...
To our surprise, yesterday when we came home from running errands there was a package waiting for us addressed to "Little Miss Annie Fraser." We though, hmmm, what could it be? It's not a holiday or her birthday?! We read the package further, it was from Gran-Nana and Great-Grampa Outschoorn. When we opened the package there was an assortment of baby items ranging from a bonnet, a bath mitt, baby booties, a bib and baby clothes. All beautiful and very much appreciated. When Nana called today to see if it arrived she sounded so happy
to be able to spoil her great-granddaughter and made me promise to tell her if I needed anything else for "Little Annie" as she calls her.
to be able to spoil her great-granddaughter and made me promise to tell her if I needed anything else for "Little Annie" as she calls her. And, if that wasn't enough of a surprise today Annie received another gift--a beautiful assortment of cardboard books from our friends Alex and Brandon. Annie and I have been reading and I read a lot to her in the womb. I can't wait until she can help turn the pages and read along with us as part of play time or part of her bedtime routine.
After dinner, Daddy went to get the mail from the mailbox and there was yet another package addressed to little Annie. It was a set of "big girl" socks from family friends Nicky and Butch Larsen. So, to all of you who go out of your way to think of us and our "Little Annie" with phone calls, emails and unexpected packages we thank you.
Love,
Amber, Mason & Annie
