Photo Albums Back Up!

Annie is sad because it took Mommy & Daddy so long to upload more pictures!

To those of you who check the blog regularly, you'll be happy to know that we've FINALLY uploaded more pictures for your viewing pleasure. We cannot believe how much Annie has grown and were pleasantly surprised at our last midwife appointment today when Annie weighed in at 8lbs 15oz. I had guessed 9lbs, so I was close. I am sure by tomorrow she will have gained that extra ounce needed to tip the scale at a whopping 9lbs. Annie also measured 57cm, and our midwife Karin said she is 'long' (aka TALL!)...I will hold onto this, even if it's just a short time in her life as I've never been referred to as Tall and was hoping Annie would be blessed with the height genes. I guess only time will tell.

The past several days have zoomed by with Aunt Meg & Uncle Steve's wedding weekend extravaganza, friends and family visiting there are no dull moments at the Burlington Fraser's household. On Sunday we are having Chan-Ra do a newborn photo shoot of Annie and we can't wait to see what he is able to capture.

As far as her growth and development, Annie is growing more alert with each passing day. She is beginning to track me with her eyes as I move about the room or when Daddy's holding her she moves her head and eyes to make sure she keeps me in sight. She is also starting to make cooing sounds and smiles at us too! It's too cute, but unfortunately I have not been able to caputure a smile on film yet. Here's hoping Chan-Ra is able to capture it with his photographic skills this weekend.

  1. That picture is too funny. She really is a minimase. She is so precious and I miss her terribly. Hope you get the pics you want in the photo shoot.

  2. I know, she was pouty because Mason was pulling the whole, "Maim, Maim, can I help you with something..." bit and she was not happy as all she wanted was some Mommy time to feed. I am hoping my Minimase turns out to look a little bit like me at some point, but yes she really does look like Mason. I have the camera aimed and ready today to capture Annie smiling and cooing but she keeps doing it when I am not looking. Sneaky kid! We miss you guys too, I guess it means you'll have to move back to Ontario now. :)

    xoxo,
    Amber & Annie
