High School Reunion of sorts...

Ashley, Amber, Annie & Chrissy

Yesterday my High School friends Ashley and Chrissy came to visit us and meet Annie for the first time. It was a great visit. I had the best of intentions in having dinner all set so all Mason had to do was BBQ the shish kabobs but Annie had another plan. Thankfully Mason took care of everything and was a super host making sure everything was taken care of from cooking, cleaning to tending to all of our needs he was great.

It was nice to be able to see the girls and share Annie with them and tell the the funny stories and the not so funny stories about pregnancy, delivery and then the joy of bringing home the baby and all that follows.

They wer great at handling Annie and managed to calm her down during her nightime cluster-feeding routine. Together they were able to feed her and soothe her when she was fussy. The next visit's lesson is diaper changing ladies!

We all kept commenting on how neat it is that we've come so far together since our days at Dr. Denison High School. Ashley is a Special Ed teacher, Chrissy graduates this year from Senceca's Firefighting programme and as you know I teach too. Chrissy said said it felt weird that her 'high school friend has a baby!"...lets face it girls, the next major milestone is going to be celebrating our 30th birthdays. YIKES!
