Annie & Mommy at Playgroup.

Today Annie and I had a busy day. After dropping Mason off at work we met up at my friend Joseé's house and we drove to the mall to do some mall walking with my new Mom's group Momstown (http://www.momstown.ca/). However, getting Annie, Joseé's two boys Kieran and Brennan ready and out the door on time was a bit of an issue so needless to say we could not find the Mom's group at the mall. There were so many Moms with strollers it as hard to pick out who was part of the group or not. I am apparently supposed to get a name tag or something soon so we can "identify" each other, but so far it has not arrived.

So, we made the most out of the day and walked around with our kids/babies and did the odd stop in at a store that interested us. In the end, we both only got stuff for our kids, which seems to be the norm. I bought Annie some baby snap hairclips that I've been looking for, for a long time. I still think it's sad that things like this really make me happy.

After shopping and lunch with Joseé, Kieran, Brennan and Annie we headed our separate ways as 1pm is the boys' naptime. Annie and I then met up with our Wednesday Mommy group and even though Annie was asleep for most of it, it was nice to be able to get out and to see our friends. For the first time she is starting to recognize everyone too and they are getting excited when then see each other.
