Sitting all by herself!We are finally recovered from our weeks of being sick. So this week Annie and I have been getting out together to go play and meet some new friends. Yesterday at the Burlington Library we met a lot of little boys around Annie's age. She must have wanted to impress them as within minutes of being their my little girl had mastered sitting and from that moment on she's been happy to play on the floor and not be attached to her seated toys or my lap.
Today we met up with a friend at the Ontario Early Year's Centre in Waterdown and it was so nice to get out again and for Annie to meet some little girls in the Mommy Group. All of her friends and cousins are boys so it was a pleasant surprise to show up to a group of girls all around Annie's age. Annie had a blast and of course showed off her new sitting skills.
I think she's zonked from all the action as she's passed out sleeping! Mommy's tired too from all the Baby/Mommy talk and definitely is in need of a nap.

Ok, this growing up is going way too quickly. Crawling is OK, but let's wait on that whole walking then driving thing at least for a while.

We are NOT ready for crawling! I am hoping she gives us at least a month to baby proof and ease us into mobility. I guess only time will tell. The growing up is happening so fast, every day seems to bring something new.
