Surprise!

Tonight I got a funny phone call from Miranda and Darren. They were having a debate about what the best thing to get from McDonalds was. Mason and I laughed as we thought it was weird to call us to find out an answer but we both gave them our preference.

Lately we've been pretty good and I haven't eaten McDonalds *much* as now that Annie is eating 'real' food we also need to consider her when we're in a rush. So as a result, McDonalds is not frequented at the Fraser residence.

After I hung up the phone I continued playing with Annie trying to keep her entertained before dinner. While we played there was a knock at the door. We weren't expecting anyone so Mason went to look out the window and said, "Hey, it's Mira and Darren!"

They had surprised us with a visit and with McDonald's to top it off. The best part was hearing Annie's squeal when she saw them at the door. She has been such a sick little monkey the past few weeks that it was so nice to see such a big smile on her face and hear the joy in her little voice. (Okay, I'm getting teary eyed just remembering her reaction!) Thanks so much for the visit guys. It was such a fantastic surprise and a great visit. We love you!
