Annie has been feeding herself for a few months. We are doing Baby Led Weaning with her but I did not agree with everything this 'theory' of introducing foods offers so when it came to purees I would always spoon feed her. I decided to let her try to feed herself today to see what happens. Well, the video I captured speaks for itself. Eating Yogurt.

Adorable--as always. But can I say this? Where is the book on mothers and father trusting their instincts? Baby lead weaning....just a fancy book title for 'I-am-feeding-my-baby-enough-regular-food-so-that-she/he-no-longer-needs-to-nurse'. Wow. What a concept! Am, how about you and I write the next book: 100 Correct and Trendy Ways to Cuddle Your Baby. It's bound to make hoards of parents feel insecure enough about their cuddle techniques to buy it.
