Weekend flew by...
This past weekend was a busy one yet again. In December the days seem to fly by and we get little time to ourselves. That being said, it's great to be able to spend more time with family and friends as we approach the holiday season.
On Sunday we had a photo shoot at our house with our renown family photographer Chan Ra http://www.chanraphotgraphy.com/! He's fantastic and has taken my Mat photos, Annie's newborn pics and then we were supposed to get him at 6 months to take another photo shoot of Annie but that's when we were all quite sick. Anyhow, yesterday's session was awesome and we all enjoyed watching Annie do her little thing. I can't wait to see what he was able to capture as she was in a bit of a snit when he started. Thankfully she warmed up so he was able to capture some classic Annie pics. We also got another professional family photo done. Stay tuned and check your mailboxes...I'm sure you'll all be getting one for xmas/chanukkah!
We also celebrated our nephew Cooper's 1st birthday. Cooper is exactly 5 months older than Annie and it boggles my mind that he's 1 already. Time has literally flown by. I remember when Mo, Chris and Cooper visited us the day after Annie was born and he was 5 months and one day old. Now he's 1 and she's 7 months old! It was nice to see everyone and celebrate such a milestone birthday for such a special little boy.
Today was another eventful day. Today I went out with Chrissy and Ashley for one last girl's day before baby Aylett arrives. Ashley is due any day now. They've given her two due dates, so he is expected to come within the next week or so. We can't wait to meet her little man and to watch him grow! He's going to be a cutie. On our shopping trip we had a fun time talking about girl stuff and mommy/baby stuff. I was able to shop (sans Annie who was with Daddy for the day) and buy some nice clothes. I have been in a bit of a style rut lately so I felt great getting some new things and feeling better about my pre-pregnancy body.
Mason is away at Air Cadets now training the kids' so it was Mommy on solo bedtime with Annie. I am happy to report that it is a breeze now that she is able to sit in the bathtub. She played while I washed her and before you know it the poor kid shivers and is still happily playing...I take the gums chattering as a sign of it's time to come out. If Annie had her way she would probably want to sleep in the bath she loves it so much. Well, she's finally asleep so now it's time for me to go get some reading in before I hit the sac.
