Today Gramma and Papa came by for a visit. Papa had a meeting to go to and several errands to run around the Burlington area so Gramma came down to visit Annie and I. It was nice to have her here so I could have my hands free to cook lunch, eat and even do some laundry without juggling a baby. While I was putting Annie down for a nap Gramma even started to weed our garden for us. For those of you who have been here lately, our garden is no longer inhabited by flowers, as we have just not been very good at balancing things lately. After Annie's nap we all went outside and weeded a bit more, it felt great to be outside on such a nice day and Annie took advantage of being outside and after watching the cars zoom by she was tired and had a cat nap.
It was a great day and a great visit. We look forward to seeing them again soon!
For those of you wondering, Annie was fantastic at the doctor's yesterday when she was up for another round of immunizations. This was the first time she did not whiper, cry, wail or shreek. Not a sound. She just looked at me as if to say, "Hmm" and before she could realise what was going on it was over. I was very happy that she did not cry as I know I stress myself out anticipating her reaction. Our nurse Natalie is fantastic and has given Annie two of the three shots she's received so far. Natalie is very gentle and takes her time and allows me to nurse Annie during the needle. We really like her and are trying to book appointments for shots around her schedule as we all like her a lot. Thankfully we have a month before we have to return again.
Hey Sista,
ReplyDeleteI am glad that baby Annie did not cry. She was a brave little girl.
Tell her that Auntie M loves her and can't wait to see her soon.
