Annie sits in her Bumbo for the first time.
Every day brings something new with our little Annie. A few days ago she learned to grab and hold onto her favourite toy Sophie the giraffe and bring it to her mouth to suck on. It was so funny to watch and now Sophie helps to her calm down during diaper changes and nap time.
Yesterday when we were hanging out on the bed, she discovered her toes for the first time and was thrilled at how they would 'move' when she touched them. As Annie has been able to hold up her head unassisted for several weeks, we thought we'd try her with her Bumbo chair, Annie loved it but is still a bit small as she would lean to one side and then not be able to get back up.
This morning I woke up at 6:30 to a very pleasant surprise. Our little girl had slept through the night! WOO HOO! I was so excited and proud as we were wondering when this day would come. I was so excited I woke up to go and write all about it on the blog...There I was almost done when Mason burst my Mommy bubble by saying he was up with Annie off and on from 11pm-1am. WAH. Well, I guess I can't complain as together they let Mommy have a full nights sleep! We can't wait to see what Annie does next! Now we have to teach her all about sleeping in on Sundays.
