Music to my ears!

As many of you know Annie's vocabulary continues to grow on a daily basis. She is up to 20 known words that she can actually say clearly. Although she says so many things like, "A Bubble!, puppy, diaper, more, all done, yum, Mama, Daddy etc..." I was really waiting to hear three specific words. I have been not-so-patiently waiting to hear Annie say I love you. Well, the wait is officially over! This morning after I breastfed Annie she was sitting on my lap facing me playing with the phone. Now, Annie's latest thing is to talk all the time so even if we don't know what she's saying, she is talking. So as she was putting the phone to my ear I said, "Annie I love you." She looked up at me and shouted, "I wub eww!" At that point I shrieked and then the tears came. I am still not sure why I cried--but I am learning that motherhood is crazy and unpredictible and well, I cry a lot more now than I did before Annie if that's even possible. I cry watching the proud parents on SYTYCD and America's Got Talent. Strange huh?! Well, just wanted to share with all of you as I'm so proud of her. We love all of you and hope to see you soon.
