Yesterday we celebrated Mason's 2nd Father's Day as a Dad of a 'real' baby and not fur babies. Father's Day this year was a bit different as we spent it at The Hodkinson's cottage with Meghan, Steve and Baby Isla. It was so nice to see all of them as it had been months since we last spent time together. Isla is growing up so fast and it's great to see Meghan and Steve as they transition into this phase of their life. They have become so confident and capable and Isla is such a happy little girl.
Annie, Mason and I enjoyed relaxing together and we even tried to get a family nap in, but unfortunately the stillness of the cottage backfired when something accidentally dropped waking up the little beast. Besides seeing Meg, Steve and Isla our highlight was how excited Annie was to go swimming. She could not get enough of the water and cried every time we took her out shivering. She even 'ran' back in holding onto our hands buck naked so she could go in again. She is definitely a water baby.
