Annie's Big Girl Toothbrush

Annie loves her new toothbrush!

Now that Annie has 4 teeth it was time to trade in her baby toothbrush for a Big Girl Toothbrush with real kids' toothpaste. So, today we took Annie to Wal-Mart and we let her choose her own toothbrush. She had a choice of a blue, green or pink toothbrush and of course our little monkey chose pink. She loves having her teeth brushed and loves even more when she tries to do it all by herself. Like most of the stuff we do around here (potty, brushing hair, diaper time) we sing a silly song to get her excited. Annie loved her new song and danced while I brushed her teeth to "Brush, Brush, Brush your teeth, each and every day. Keep those nasty cavaties far, far, far away.." Annie even started trying to sing along. It was pretty cute.

This weekend we stayed local as I had report cards to write. It was a nice and relaxing weekend overall. Yesterday we took Annie to the park down by the lake. It is our favourite place to go as a family. It was so nice out we decided to try and let Annie go into the splash pad in her diaper as we forgot her bathing suit. We decided we would use her blanket as a towel if she liked it and got wet. Well, at first Annie was hesitant but within a few minutes she was leaning over the fountains of water and splashing and kicking up a storm. Unfortunately we forgot our camera so Mason snapped a few pics on his Blackberry. Once I figure out how to transfer the files I'll share them with you.

Hope everyone had a great weekend.

Amber
