Thanks for babysitting Mom!
This past week was a good one. Turning 29; a play date with Amy, AJ & JD; Wii Olympics with Mason's siblings and a date day with Mason while Annie was being watched by my Mom...it was busy, but such a great start to my 29th year. Annie was a fantastic baby this week and started really feeding herself Cheerios, pasta, fruit and veggies at mealtimes. She gets frustrated when Mason and I try to help her as she wants to do it by herself. Looks like our little girl is all about being independent and figuring things out herself. She's such a Mini-Me when it comes to her lack of patience and need to do things without reading instructions etc. Today Mason and I are going to take her swimming for the first time. We'll definitely post pictures.
On a more serious note, this week I learned that a friend of mine from University was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 Cervical Cancer. She had not been for a pap smear in years as she did not have a family doctor and like most of us, put off making an appointment. I beg all of you to please go and make an appointment and get your yearly physical exam if you have not done so already. If you are struggling to find a family doctor please go to this website and search for one in your area. http://cpso.on.ca/docsearch/ Please send your positive thoughts and strength to my friend who is undergoing radiation and chemotherapy to fight this disease.
Love,
Amber
You two really need to get out more as a couple ;)

Ha Mom, do you say that because you want more alone time with Annie?

Would I do that?
